Josiah A and brother James P, sons of Thomas and Elisabeth D Allen Shelton and grandsons of Josiah Shelton and Fathey Ford
died in the War. They were brothers to my g-grandfather, Charles Madison Shelton.
Note: As in the above document, Josiah A Shelton was often mistakenly referred to as Joseph A or Josiah H per some of the
muster rolls.
